Extra Supermarket is a fully Fijian owned business run by a team with vast experience in the retail industry in Fiji. Our vision is to bring a world-class shopping experience to shoppers in Fiji.
Extra Supermarket launched its first store in August 2017 at Tappoo City, Lautoka. Since then, we’ve expanded with three additional branches at Flagstaff, Suva; Laucala Beach Estate, Suva; and Damodar City Labasa. Our aim is to offer our customers, whom we regard as partners in our success, a world-class shopping experience in Fiji. By maintaining a strong focus on customer needs, we have built a reputation for quality, variety, convenience, excellent amenities, and competitive pricing—all contributing to what we call the “Extra Experience.”

Our goal is to promote a healthy and happy lifestyle, and with this focus, Extra Supermarket actively participates in sports initiatives, recognizing their importance in promoting wellness and overall health.
While we strive to support good health, we also recognize that medical care is sometimes essential. Extra is deeply committed to community welfare and actively contributes to various social initiatives that benefit the local community. This includes regular sponsorship of healthcare institutions and NGOs dedicated to wellness. We also support other deserving causes on an ad-hoc basis, embodying the Fijian spirit of solidarity by helping those in need.
